About Edgar
After spending some time exploring Europe after college, Edgar went to work for a large insurance company in their IT department. He joined a team responsible for the quality and performance of the company's applications. Keeping with his motto of always learning, Edgar's responsibilities during this time included: Managing a testing lab used for performance testing and proof of concepts, setting up and managing application availabilty metrics through HP's Business Availabilty Center, training the quality assurance department on testing tools such as iTKO LISA, discovering and recruiting new hires through campus recruiting, helping develop a new rotational program to help new hires gain a broad and varied experience, managing an entire testing and development environment for the Claims deparment, as well as conducting production releases.
This unique and varied experience provided a unique perspective when joining Everything Web Based and a new world of internet marketing. His current business interests include helping clients rethink their product offerings and sales funnels, using metrics from analytics and testing to drive decision making, and continual business process improvement. He also holds a Google Analytics Individual Qualification.
When Edgar's not focusing on helping their clients succeed, his interests include reading, running 5K's in new and different locations, and travelling to new places to learn how everyone's environment affects their views of the world. His current fascination is rock-climbing. |
